What this notice covers

This notice covers browsing herdoptix.com and contacting us through its waitlist and contact links. Connected farm records and the signed-in platform require separate terms for your operation. See what to clarify before connecting farm data.

Information you provide

The waitlist asks for your name, email address and operation type. Head count is optional. We use these details to respond about availability and onboarding. If you email or call us, you choose which information to share in that conversation.

You do not need to send animal records, passwords or farm-system credentials to make an initial inquiry.

Signup and abuse prevention

Alongside a signup, the website records an IP address and browser user-agent information. These help us review the source of inquiries and prevent abuse. Cloudflare Turnstile checks submissions for automated activity. Signup details are stored using Supabase, and Resend handles confirmation and internal notification emails. Internal notifications include the submitted details and signup source information.

Campaign attribution in your browser

If you arrive through a tagged campaign link, the website saves its source, medium, campaign, content label, landing-page path and timestamp in your browser’s local storage. The first valid record is used for up to 90 days and is included if you submit the waitlist form during that window.

After 90 days the record is ignored; it may remain in browser storage until replaced or cleared. You can remove it by clearing site data for herdoptix.com in your browser. Blocking local storage does not prevent signup.

Website analytics and performance

We use Vercel to host this website and to measure page visits, performance and selected actions: report and resource download clicks, contact-link clicks, compatibility links and waitlist steps. A contact click does not tell us whether you sent an email or completed a call. A signup success event means the website received a successful response, which can include an email already on the list.

Our custom analytics events include the public page and, where relevant, a sample-report or resource label, or contact method. They do not include your form entries, email message, head count or farm records. We remove query strings and fragments from analytics page URLs and exclude unrecognized page paths.

Vercel also processes technical visit information, such as browser and device characteristics and approximate location. Hosting and security services process request information to deliver and protect the website. Read Vercel’s analytics privacy documentation and Cloudflare’s privacy policy for their descriptions.

Questions, corrections and removal requests

To ask about information you submitted, correct your details, request removal from the waitlist or stop onboarding follow-ups, email seth@herdoptix.com. Include the email address used for your inquiry. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

The 90-day attribution window applies to browser attribution; it is not a deletion schedule for submitted inquiries, email records or provider logs. Contact us to discuss retention and removal of those records.
